Coleman Filter Company manufactures and supplies string wound cartridge filters, pleated filters, melt blown and liquid filter bags and filtration equipment.
String Wound Filters
Melt Blown Polypropylene Filters
• Feature a graded density that uses depth of the filter to trap sediment, translating into high dirt-holding capacity.
• Available in widths of 2.5 or 4.5” and lengths of 9.75” to 40” (call for longer).
• True Depth Filtration
• 100% Melt Blown Polypropylene
• Low Pressure Drop
• Superior Dirt Holding Capacity
• Multi-Level Filtration
• NSF Listed
• Meets FDA regulations for contact with food and pharmaceutical products
All 2.5" diameter filters provide two layers of filtration. A course outer layer for larger particulate reduction and the one inner layer for fine filtration.
All 4.5" diameter filters provide four layers of filtration. Two outer layers for larger particulate reduction and two inner layers for fine filtration.
Pleated Liquid Filters
Suitable for potable water, most light industrial applications. The durable, non-woven polyester fabric can be rinse cleaned, while pleating maximizes its dirt holding capacity and extends the time between changes.
Polyester pleated filters available in 2.625- and 4.5-inch widths (OD) and 10- to 40-inch lengths; 1 to 50-micron nominal ratings.
Series UPP Pleated Polypropylene Filter Cartridges
Designed for residential, commercial, and industrial filtration applications. Constructed of durable, chemical resistant polypropylene media, they can be employed on many acids, alkalies, plating solutions, water treatment, and saline solutions. This cartridge to collects more particles and offers a longer filter life. Polypropylene pleated filters are available in 2.625-inch widths (OD) and 10- to 40-inch lengths; .5 to 50-micron nominal ratings.
High Purity/High Efficiency Pleated Polypropylene
Series CGPP Polypropylene Pleated Filter Cartridges are designed to provide high efficiency and purity filtration. Manufactured with polypropylene microfiber media, these cartridges are ideally suited for membrane pre-filter applications or as a cost-effective alternative to membrane filtration.
Materials of Construction:
•Type of Construction: integrally sealed, all polypropylene pleated media supported by all-polypropylene construction.
•Filter Media: melt blown polypropylene microfiber.
•Media Support Layers: Non-woven or mesh polypropylene.
•Media Support Core: Heavy wall high strength polypropylene.
•Seal Materials: Buna-N, EPR, Silicone, Viton, PFA Encapsulated Viton.
Liquid Bag Filters
For some applications, liquid bags represent the best filtration option. Attractive features of liquid bag filters include:
• Inside-Outside Flow Configuration - resulting in capture of contaminants on the inside
• Ease of Disposal - bags are collapsible
• Ability to handle viscous fluids
• Low unit cost
